Very comfortable after shoulder surgery
It's so weird how bra sizing is so completely random. As mentioned above, good support and lift, and I'm fine with the pads to conceal nipples, but so much side breast spillage. Nooooooooo. Not good. darn. The search continues.
I should have checked. I have another Nola bra where the opening is at the top. This one has an opening near the bottom.
It doesn't appear to be intuitive on how to remove the pads.....there is an opening on each side of the bra towards the part where the cup meets the strap. The opening is semi circular and large enough for you to use your fingers to reach in, grab the pad and then remove it. I find this bra super comfortable - good fit, good material, easily removable pads.
This bra IS PADDED. It has 'inserts' which, in another review of this same product, are stated to be 'removable'. As the aforementioned review points out, and I'm paraphrasing, "It's not padded! It just has these inserts, which totally don't count as padding, that can be taken out if you don't like them!" To be clear, this reviewer doesn't indicate the method of removal. These inserts, which are PADS of material meant for shaping (this is literally the definition of a padded bra), are 'removable' if you like cutting up your active wear. There is no way to access the padding otherwise, as you'd expect from a bra with purportedly removable padding; if I have to cut open a garment and then stitch it back up by hand in order to remove supposedly 'removable' parts of that garment, those parts don't count as removable. At this rate, you might as well advertise this bra as having 'removable' straps. I mean, anyone can just cut those off with a pair of shears. If you happen to be looking for a padded sports bra, this could have been a good choice - if those pads didn't constantly move around, fold up, and end up being completely visible, pushing your shirt up in obvious and odd shapes. As an aside, I was looking for a non-padded sports bra when I bough this, and all of them were padded. Seeing on here that there are styles of sports bras that are advertised explicitly as non-padded is simply vexing. I chose this bra because it looked simple, and I thought I'd be able to contend with the pads. After a month-long battle, I dissected the thing to take them out, and I'm STILL convinced that this was my best option out of that selection. Dear Addition Elle: Please quit with the false-advertising and just sell some bras that actually don't have pads in them. Dear prospective customers: If you have any other plus-size stores to go to that aren't Addition Elle or a sister company, don't bother with Addition Elle. The quality and variety seem to be in a steep decline.
I use this Bra every day when I go for my walks and I LOVE it! It's the most comfortable bra I have ever own!! I'll definitely be buying more of these bras!
This isn't actually padded, it has removable inserts. I quite like this bra - it's nice to have something in a larger size - 3X fits the G girls nicely and the wide rib cage band is comfy.
Says it's not padded, that's a lie - it's padded and in very odd positions.
Disappointed in the sizing on the Nola sports bras/bralettes. I purchased 3 the same size and they varied in size by over an inch. Frustrating!
